أجرت في دبي تحسينات مرورية عند تقاطع القيادة باتجاه شارعي أبو هيل وصلاح الدين، شملت إضافة مسار جديد من شارع الاتحاد للقادمين من اتجاه دبي إلى شارعي أبو هيل وصلاح الدين وتعديل التقاطع والإشارات الضوئية، بهدف تعزيز انسيابية الحركة وتسهيل تنقّل المركبات على شارع الاتحاد والطرق المحيطة.
وتضمنت الحلول إضافة مسار على تقاطع شارع الاتحاد للمتجهين يساراً على شارع أبو هيل باتجاه شارع صلاح الدين، عبر استغلال مساحة المواقف الموازية وجزء من الجزيرة الوسطية، ما أسهم في زيادة الطاقة الاستيعابية للمركبات ورفع الكفاءة التشغيلية للتقاطع.
وتسهم التحسينات في تسهيل تنقّل المركبات بين شبكة الطرق المحلية والمحور الرئيس لشارع الاتحاد وتحسين انسيابية الحركة عند المداخل والمخارج المحيطة بالتقاطع، ومن المتوقع أن تسهم التحسينات في رفع الطاقة الاستيعابية للتقاطع بالإضافة إلى خفض زمن الانتظار بنسبة تصل إلى 15% في أوقات الذروة، وبالتالي تقليل الازدحام وتحسين تجربة مستخدمي الطريق.

initiated a series of traffic improvements at Al Qiyadah Intersection to improve movement towards Abu Hail and Salah Al Din Streets. The works included adding a new lane from Al Ittihad Road for traffic heading from Dubai towards Abu Hail and Salah Al Din Streets, alongside upgrades to the intersection layout and traffic signals — improving traffic flow and easing vehicle movement along Al Ittihad Road and the surrounding network.
The improvements included a new left-turn lane from Al Ittihad Road onto Abu Hail Street towards Salah Al Din Street, created by utilizing parallel parking spaces and part of the central median, thus increasing traffic capacity and improving the intersection’s operational efficiency.
These upgrades will streamline movement between the local road network and the main Al Ittihad Road corridor, while improving traffic flow at the surrounding approaches and exits. RTA expects improvements to increase the intersection’s capacity and cut waiting times by up to 15% during peak periods, easing congestion and delivering a smoother experience for road users.

استقبل معالي مطر الطاير المدير العام ورئيس مجلس المديرين في هيئة الطرق والمواصلات، السيد مادهو كانان الرئيس التنفيذي للأعمال في شركة "أوبر".
وبحث اللقاء سبل تعزيز التعاون وتطوير علاقات الشراكة الاستراتيجية بين الجانبين، وتبادل الخبرات في مجالات التنقل الذكي والمستدام، كما تناول اللقاء خطط زيادة عدد المركبات ذاتية القيادة، التي جرى تشغيلها في مارس الماضي، من قبل عدد من الشركات العالمية المتخصصة، لدعم جهود إمارة دبي في ترسيخ ريادتها العالمية في مجال التنقل الذكي والمستقبلي، إلى جانب استعراض الفرص المستقبلية لتوظيف التقنيات الحديثة والحلول المبتكرة، بما يسهم في الارتقاء بخدمات التنقل.

The meeting discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and develop strategic partnership relations between the two sides, as well as exchange expertise in smart and sustainable mobility. It also addressed plans to increase the number of autonomous vehicles, which were launched last March by several specialised global companies, in support of Dubai’s efforts to reinforce its global leadership in smart and future mobility. The meeting also explored future opportunities to leverage advanced technologies and innovative solutions, contributing to enhanced mobility services.

أطلقت برامجها وفعالياتها التوعوية الموجّهة إلى طلبة المدارس وأولياء الأمور والسائقين مع بداية العام الدراسي الجديد 2026–2027، ضمن خطتها السنوية للتوعية المرورية الهادفة إلى تعزيز السلوكيات الآمنة، ورفع مستوى الوعي بأسباب الحوادث في المناطق المدرسية، وترسيخ مفاهيم السلامة المرورية، بالتزامن مع الحملة التوعوية “السلامة المرورية لطلبة المدارس” التي تقودها وزارة الداخلية على مستوى دولة الإمارات.

has launched a series of awareness programmes and activities for school students, parents, and drivers, coinciding with the start of the 2026–2027 academic year on Tuesday, 1 September. The initiatives form part of RTA’s annual traffic awareness plan, aimed at promoting safe road behaviours, raising awareness of traffic accidents causes in school zones, and reinforcing traffic safety principles. They also align with the nationwide “Traffic Safety for School Students” awareness campaign led by the Ministry of Interior.
