🇦🇲🇦🇪 On September 8 in Dubai, Minister of Armenia H.E. Gevorg Papoyan met with H.E. Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism of the United Arab Emirates.

📈 During the meeting a broad agenda of Armenia–UAE economic cooperation, including the establishment of manufacturing and regional distribution centers in Armenia, the development of joint logistics hubs, as well as opportunities for processing Armenian agricultural products and organizing private-label production for UAE companies, were discussed.

🖇 The meeting was also attended by Gohar Abajyan, CEO of the Enterprise Armenia; Vardges Hovsepyan, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Armenia to the UAE; Artak Avetisyan, Consul General of Armenia in Dubai; and Hayk Mkhitaryan, Economic Adviser to the Ambassador of Armenia to the UAE.

🇦🇲🇦🇪 On the sidelines of the International Property Show 2026 (IPS 2026) in Dubai, Minister of Economy of Armenia Gevorg Papoyan visited the pavilion of Armenian company New City Projects, which is showcasing residential projects and investment opportunities in Armenia, including Tsaghkadzor.

🇦🇲🇦🇪 Minister of Economy of Armenia Gevorg Papoyan also visited Watermelon Ecosystem in Dubai.

🤝 Following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the company on August 27, the export of fresh Armenian fruits and vegetables to the UAE has commenced, with initial volumes reaching up to 40 tonnes per week.

Watermelon Ecosystem is a Dubai-based technology platform operating in the food and beverage sector. It connects restaurants, hotels, food suppliers, producers, and farmers, offering digital procurement, supply chain management, and financing solutions. The company also actively works with local producers and suppliers, contributing to greater access to their products within the food service sector.

The sides discussed opportunities for investment in Armenia and reached an agreement to further strengthen cooperation, both in implementing investment projects and in increasing the volume of Armenian product exports to the UAE.

🇦🇲🇦🇪 On the sidelines of the 15th Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) in Dubai, Minister of Economy of Armenia H.E. Gevorg Papoyan had a meeting with Minister of State for Foreign Trade of the UAE H.E. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi.

🔹 A range of issues on expanding trade and economic cooperation between Armenia and the UAE were discussed.

🤝🏻 In the context of diversifying export markets, the importance of facilitating access to the UAE market for Armenian exporters was emphasized.
