What a journey. As the final chapter of the USS MONSOON comes to a close - the Final Crew would like to thank all former Sailors that have called her home. It was an honor carrying the torch and carrying on a proud legacy. Moreover, would like to thank the friends and family of USS MONSOON - without your support…you lending her your sons, your husbands, your loved ones… MONSOON wouldn’t have been able to do the Nations bidding at an exceptionally high level for almost 3 decades. Thank you all.

The U.S. Navy decommissioned the last two Cyclone-class patrol coastal ships stationed at Naval Support Activity Bahrain, March 28, during a pierside ceremony attended by U.S. 5th Fleet officials.
