The UAE’s renewable energy capacity grew more than 63-fold in the decade to 2025, a national success story driven by long-term vision, bold ambition and collaboration.

At Masdar, we’re proud to have helped turn that ambition into real world impact. Today, our operational capacity in the UAE stands at 2.85GW, with nearly 12GW more under construction.



ارتفعت القدرة الإنتاجية للطاقة المتجددة في الإمارات بأكثر من 63 ضعفاً خلال العقد المنتهي في عام 2025، في إنجاز نوعي يعكس نهج قائم على رؤية طويلة الأمد وأهداف طموحة وشراكات فاعلة.

ونفخر في "مصدر" بالمساهمة في تحويل هذه الطموحات إلى إنجازات ذات أثر ملموس، حيث تبلغ القدرة الإنتاجية لمشروعات الشركة قيد التشغيل في دولة الإمارات 2.85 غيغاواط، ونحو 12 غيغاواط للمشروعات قيد التطوير.

Egypt is a strategic market for Masdar and an important platform for our growth across Africa.

This week, our CEO Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi met with H.E. Dr. Mahmoud Esmat, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, to discuss advancing renewable energy and battery storage, strengthening grid resilience and supporting Egypt’s growing energy needs.

He also met with the Masdar and Infinity Power teams and our local partners as we continue to scale the projects delivering affordable, reliable and secure clean energy across Egypt and the continent.



تمثل جمهورية مصر العربية سوقاً استراتيجية لـ "مصدر"، وتكتسب أهمية خاصة ضمن خطط الشركة للنمو والتوسع في القارة الأفريقية.

هذا الأسبوع، التقى محمد جميل الرمحي، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة "مصدر"، معالي الدكتور محمود عصمت، وزير الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة في جمهورية مصر العربية، لبحث سبل تعزيز التعاون في مجالات الطاقة المتجددة وحلول تخزين الطاقة بالبطاريات، ودعم مرونة شبكة الكهرباء، والمساهمة في تلبية الطلب المتنامي على الطاقة في مصر.

كما التقى الرمحي فرق عمل "مصدر" و"إنفينيتي باور" وشركاءنا المحليين، في إطار جهودنا المستمرة لتوسيع نطاق مشاريع الطاقة النظيفة التي تسهم في توفير إمدادات طاقة موثوقة وآمنة وبتكلفة تنافسية في مصر ومختلف أنحاء القارة الأفريقية.

We are pleased to announce the start of commercial operations at Masdar's second battery energy storage system (BESS) project in the UK. The opening of the Rochdale facility marks another significant milestone in Masdar's planned £1 billion investment program in UK battery storage, and reinforces our commitment to supporting the country's energy security and providing clean and affordable power to consumers.

The 35MW/70MWh plant will provide enough clean power for 35,000 homes per day, based upon two charging and discharging cycles per day. The facility will also provide critical grid balancing services, responding to fluctuations in supply and demand within milliseconds to help maintain a secure and reliable electricity network.

يسرنا الإعلان عن بدء التشغيل التجاري لمنشأة "روتشديل"، ثاني مشروعات "مصدر" لأنظمة بطاريات تخزين الطاقة في المملكة المتحدة، وذلك في إطار برنامج استثماري بقيمة مليار جنيه إسترليني لتطوير مشروعات في مجال تخزين الطاقة، والتزام الشركة بالمساهمة في تعزيز أمن الطاقة في البلاد، وتوفير طاقة نظيفة بتكلفة مناسبة للمستهلكين.

وتبلغ استطاعة منشأة "روتشديل" 35 ميغاواط/70 ميغاواط ساعة، وستوفر طاقة نظيفة تكفي لتلبية احتياجات35 ألف منزل يومياً، مع إتمام دورتي شحن وتفريغ كاملتين يومياً. كما تساعد المنشأة في تحقيق التوازن بين إمدادات الكهرباء والطلب عليها، من خلال الاستجابة الفورية للتقلبات في العرض والطلب خلال أجزاء من الثانية، بما يسهم في الحفاظ على شبكة كهرباء آمنة وموثوقة.

We are proud to announce that Masdar and ScottishPower Renewables have completed a major construction milestone at the £4 billion East Anglia THREE offshore wind farm, with all 95 foundations now installed off the Suffolk coast.

East Anglia THREE is the second project to be developed as part of Masdar and Iberdrola’s €15 billion strategic partnership and the first with ScottishPower Renewables in the UK. Once fully operational, the project will deliver 1.4GW of affordable, home-grown clean power to the UK.

يسرنا الإعلان عن استكمال "مصدر" وشركة "سكوتيش باور رينوبلز" مرحلة رئيسية من أعمال الإنشاء في مشروع محطة "إيست أنجليا 3" لطاقة الرياح البحرية الواقع قبالة ساحل سوفولك بالمملكة المتحدة والبالغة قيمته 19.8 مليار درهم (4 مليارات جنيه إسترليني).

ويُعد مشروع "إيست أنجليا 3" ثاني المشاريع التي يجري تطويرها في إطار الشراكة الاستراتيجية بين "مصدر" و"إيبردرولا" البالغة قيمتها 59.9 مليار درهم (15 مليار يورو)، وأول مشروع ضمن هذه الشراكة مع شركة "سكوتيش باور" في المملكة المتحدة. وسيزود المشروع عند دخوله حيز التشغيل الكامل، شبكة الكهرباء في المملكة المتحدة بـ 1.4 غيغاواط من الطاقة النظيفة وبتكلفة مناسبة.
