Preparation for deployment of Elections Material and Poll Staff is currently underway at Mbala Municipal Council Civic Centre, in preparation for the General Election taking place tomorrow 13th August 2026.

The District Electoral Officer, Mrs. Laura Yumba Munkanta earlier facilitated the Verification of Ballot Papers, in the presence of Stakeholders and European Union Election Observers.

The District Electoral Officer further addressed Stakeholders on the extension of the Accreditation exercise for 1 day, which will therefore continue today 12th August 2026.
