The Ministry of Health Zambia remains focused on translating national policy into effective service delivery, through:
✅️Scaling up vector control interventions, including Indoor Residual Spraying and the distribution of insecticide-treated nets
✅️Strengthening prompt testing and treatment across all levels of care
✅️Enhancing surveillance systems to ensure that interventions are targeted where they are most needed

Impact will depend on consistent use of interventions, strong community engagement, and sustained leadership at all levels.

Vital Larvicide Delivered💪💪✅️✅️✅️🇿🇲

A larvicide is an insecticide designed specifically to kill the immature, aquatic larval stage of insects, most commonly mosquitoes.

By targeting standing water where mosquitoes breed, they are a highly effective, eco-friendly method to reduce mosquito populations before they mature into biting adults.

Larvicides are considered more efficient than adulticides (spraying adult mosquitoes) because they target the pest in concentrated breeding spots.
