AMERICA WARNS ZAMBIA, INTERNATIONAL LAW COMING - GREENFIELD

United States of America has warned President Edgar Lungu to follow the country's set laws and stop any form of dictatorial tendencies.

US Secretary of State Linda Thomas-Greenfield sounded the warning this morning when she was assigned by that country's President, Mr. Obama to deliver the message to Mr. Lungu on the need to follow law.

She emphasised that USA has been following closely the abrogation of the law in Zambia but that this will not be allowed by the International Community.

The USA Secretary of state also warned that if the Zambian Law will fail to hear an interpretation of the Constitutional Court ruling made without hearing the Presidential Petition set for 21st September 2016, International Law will be applied.

She strongly warns that both Zambian and International Laws will be applied to sternly deal with non democratic individuals.

And shortly after her meeting, President Edgar Lungu's Press Aide, Amos Chanda in an interview told Journalists that the USA Secretary of state has warned that International Law will be applied to restore the country's judicial system.

He said that America has warned that Mr. Hichilema, UPND President must be respected and be heard in Courts before International Laws can be applied.

Meanwhile, instead of focusing on abiding by USA advice to follow the law, Mr. Chanda disclosed that President Edgar Lungu only assured America of fixing (Copying from HH - FIXING) the economy.

On 21st of September 2016 the Interpretation of the Constitutional Court computation of time (14days) comes up in the court.

According to the Constitution, the computation in which a presidential petition must be heard is 14 days but that does not include holidays and weekends.

Therefore, the Constitutional Court will decide on whether the matter must be heard or not as the court only sat for 10 days excluding 4 days (weekends).

It is cheap politicking and propaganda for anyone to think that the "Battle is over".
Now is the time for the true Freedom Fighters of our time to stand up and fight for justice. The PF have abrogated the constitution with impunity ~ they bought their way through and now they feel their propaganda machine will still keep them in power. Zambia needs to know that “In every age it has been the tyrant, the oppressor and the exploiter who has wrapped himself in the cloak of patriotism, or religion, or both to deceive and overawe the People." You voted and your vote counted; they stole and want to silence your voices!

The case of Gbagbo:
Gbagbo and Blé Goudé each stand accused of crimes against humanity in the aftermath of Côte d’Ivoire’s November 2010 presidential elections. Côte d’Ivoire is a West African nation with about 23 million citizens and a troubling history of violent bursts fueled by exclusionary sociopolitical rhetoric since the mid-1990s. Gbagbo’s refusal to cede power to then-challenger Alassane Ouattara engulfed the country in political violence until April 2011, leaving about 3,000 people dead.

The ICC prosecutor alleges that Gbagbo attempted to stay in power by using the state’s defense and security forces and political militias to target Ouattara supporters, real or perceived, both in Abidjan and the north. Specifically, he is charged as an indirect co-perpetrator for murder, r**e, sexual violence and persecution, among other acts, which amount to crimes against humanity.

The battle continues - Justice will be served.
