ZCC Issues Statement Ahead of 2025/2026 New Year Consecration Conference

The Zion Christian Church (ZCC) has released a statement in preparation for its upcoming 2025/2026 Consecration of the New Year conference, scheduled to take place from September 3rd to 10th, 2025, in Moria City.

As the church prepares to welcome congregants from across the country, it has emphasized the importance of safety and orderliness in and around the church premises. With the expected influx of attendees, the ZCC has urged members, visitors, and the general public to observe road safety protocols and follow traffic regulations.

To ensure a smooth and safe experience for all, the church has implemented several measures, including:

- Prohibiting informal trading and vending along the R71 road between Polokwane and Tzaneen
- Restricting parking in designated areas
- Encouraging pedestrians to use designated pathways
- Urging families to supervise young children and avoid travel during high-risk periods

The ZCC has assured that these measures are intended to prevent congestion, eliminate distractions, and reduce hazards that may interfere with the smooth flow of congregants.

According to Moatshe Ngoepe, ZCC Spokesperson, "The Church, as a law-abiding entity, is working closely with law enforcement agencies to deal with all safety and security-related matters.
