SPU SECURES FIRST SARChI RESEARCH CHAIR

SPU has reached a significant research milestone with the appointment of Professor Boitumelo Diale as the University’s first holder of a South African Research Chairs Initiative (SARChI) Chair in Inclusive Rural Education and Early Childhood Development.

As Professor Diale concludes her tenure as Dean of the Faculty of Education, she assumes this national research role, marking a defining moment in SPU’s research trajectory and strengthening its contribution to South Africa’s national research landscape.

SPU VICE-CHANCELLOR RECOGNISED IN ELDORADO PARK COMMUNITY-LED ART INITIATIVE

SPU Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Professor Debra Meyer, has been featured in a public mural in Eldorado Park as part of a community-led initiative recognising individuals who contribute meaningfully to society. The mural forms part of a collaboration between EldosFM and the Go Green Go Clean project, transforming public space into a platform for community recognition, environmental awareness and social impact.
