As per the previous post

We got appointed since we provide quantity surveying and project management services

Solution

1. Since trust was no longer served we had to let go of the contractor
2. Got our sub-contractor to finish the work
3. Had a site foreman ,project manager , quantity surveyor that kept the project going and finish phase of brick work.
4. Provided new quantities and strategy to finish other trades such as plaster,electrical work.

We did this in a space of less than a month.

A client made a biggest mistake like most township house owners who are looking to extend their house or build from scratch

1. Hire a contractor who builds, makes bricks,supply their own building sand,concrete mix and river sand .
2. Appoint a family member to watch the contractor and not get a project manager.

We got appointed since we provide quantity surveying and project management services

We found the following

1. Contractor stole client's cement to make the bricks that the client wanted
2. Contractor used a 4t truck to measure 5 cubic meter of soil
3. Contractor made the client buy more than he needs to finish the job(bricks,concrete mix)
4. Contractor gave the client a low budget which kept increasing as the project started
