Subject: Handover of mobile library at Ikgomotseng Primary School

The Mayor of Mamusa Local Municipality attended the official handover of a mobile library at Ikgomotseng Primary School, generously donated by AVBOB.

The event was attended by the Acting Circuit Manager, officials from the District Office of Education, AVBOB management, and the Acting Principal of the school, Mrs Lesese.

As part of the donation, AVBOB also handed over an inverter, books, dictionaries for learners, and a podium for the school.

The programme further featured a spelling competition in which three learners emerged as winners and received tokens of appreciation from AVBOB in recognition of their outstanding performance.

The municipality welcomes and appreciates the contribution made by AVBOB towards promoting education and improving learning resources for the learners of Ikgomotseng Primary School.

Residents of Charon are hereby informed that, starting from today will be switched off today ( 26th May 2026) due to more than 90%of accounts in arrears within the area.

The power supply is NOW cut until residents come and make payments/arrangements.

Residents of Charon are advised to all visit Mamusa LM offices in town in order to make payment on overdue accounts/ arrangements.

Only upon arrangement will power be switched on. Apologies for inconvenience
