Passports and birth certificates(for children born in RSA only)are applied for at the Embassy of Zimbabwe in Eastgate if you're in Johannesburg. What you need is an appointment date for your application. They'll want you to bring your ID and birth certificate. R300 for your fingerprints and forms plus R80 for your passport photos.
Afterwards you'll be given forms to submit to the Zimbabwe Registry office,(Harare,Gwanda,Gweru or Bulawayo)where your passport will be processed at a cost of $120(a week) or $220 for 72hrs.
All birth certificates and passports are processed in Zimbabwe after submitting your forms
