🚨OTM POLITICAL PARTY INVITES THE PEOPLE OF MOGALAKWENA TO JOIN THE COMMUNITY MARCH TO THE
NPA – POLOKWANE

đź“… DATE: 21 SEPTEMBER 2026

THE HAWKS HAVE DONE THEIR WORK.
NOW WE DEMAND ANSWERS FROM THE
The National Prosecuting Authority of South Africa (NPA Polokwane)!

OTM Political Party calls on the people of Mogalakwena and communities across Limpopo Province to stand together in demanding justice, accountability and transparency concerning serious allegations of corruption and maladministration at Mogalakwena Local Municipality.

According to the SAPS Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI) progress report dated 11 August 2026, the investigation concerning Bid No. 06/2022/2023 — Supply and Delivery of Vehicles (Fleet Management) at Mogalakwena Local Municipality has been partially completed for possible prosecution, with a charge sheet drafted and submitted to the relevant NPA structure for verification and approval.

OTM Political Party is concerned about the apparent delay in the prosecutorial process and raises questions about whether political influence or interference may be affecting the progress of the matter.

OTM also believes there are grounds to question whether high-ranking officials within Limpopo Province may have an interest in the outcome of investigations into alleged corruption and maladministration at Mogalakwena Local Municipality.

We are not declaring anyone guilty.

We are demanding that the truth be established, that every allegation be properly investigated, and that the law be allowed to take its course without fear, favour or political interference.

đź”´ WE INVITE THE PEOPLE TO STAND WITH US: It is about public money, public institutions and the future of our communities.

🚨BREAKING NEWS: WHO CONNECTED MPHO MALEMA TO MALULEKA, AND WHERE DID THE MONEY GO?

Serious questions are now being raised over the alleged relationship between businessman Mpho Malema, associated with Fleet Management, and former Mogalakwena Local Municipality Municipal Manager Morris Montego Maluleka.

At the centre of the developing story is one critical question:

WHO INTRODUCED MPHO MALEMA TO THE MUNICIPAL MANAGER?

But that is only the beginning. The bigger question is: WHERE DID THE MONEY GO?

WHO AUTHORISED THE PAYMENTS?
WHICH COMPANY RECEIVED THE MONEY? HOW MUCH PUBLIC MONEY WAS INVOLVED? WHAT SERVICES OR CONTRACTS WERE PAID FOR? WHO WERE THE ULTIMATE BENEFICIARIES?
DID ANY OF THE MONEY END UP SUPPORTING POLITICAL ACTIVITIES?

These are questions that should concern every resident of Mogalakwena.

If documentary evidence ultimately establishes that municipal funds were improperly used to finance political rallies, posters, political campaigns or other political activities, then the public deserves a full explanation of how that happened.

Particularly concerning are political posters appearing across Mokopane and towards Sekgakgapeng and Mahwelereng, while many communities continue to struggle with unemployment, roads, water, sanitation and other basic services.

THE QUESTION IS NOT WHO THE POSTERS BELONG TO. THE QUESTION IS: WHO PAID FOR THEM?

We will present the information and supporting documentation available to us for public scrutiny.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS | Mogalakwena Local Municipality CORRUPTION INVESTIGATION

OTM Political Party is bringing an important development to the attention of the people of Mogalakwena concerning the criminal investigation under Mokopane CAS 52/08/2024.

According to a South African Police Service (SAPS) Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI) progress report dated 11 August 2026, the investigation relating to Bid No. 06/2022/2023 — Supply and Delivery of Vehicles (Fleet Management) at Mogalakwena Local Municipality has been partially completed for possible prosecution (Phase 1).

The report further records that a charge sheet has been drafted and submitted to the relevant National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) structure for verification and approval.

This is not just paperwork. Behind every corruption investigation are real people.

People in Mogalakwena are still asking:

Where is our water?
Where are our proper roads?
Where are the jobs?
Where is meaningful service delivery?
Where is the accountability for public money?

Our communities cannot be expected to accept failing services while investigations into the management of public resources continue to move through lengthy processes.

OTM President Victor Mokonyane confirms that he personally communicated with Advocate Mmbara, both by telephone and email, and was informed that a few more days were needed. More than two weeks have now passed.

We respect the independence of the NPA and the rule of law. We also respect the principle that every person is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

But the people have a legitimate right to ask:

HOW MUCH LONGER MUST THEY WAIT?

Mogalakwena communities deserve clean governance, accountability, water, decent roads, economic opportunities and jobs.

If public resources are lost through corruption, the consequences are not merely numbers on a document, ordinary families pay the price.

OTM Political Party calls for the outstanding prosecutorial processes to be concluded without unnecessary delay. No one is above the law.
