AFRICAN NATIONAL CONGRESS WOMEN LEAGUE REGIONAL TASK TEAM REFLECT ON EVENTS TOOK PLACE IN KZN LEGISLATURE ON THE 15 DECEMBER 2025

Women of Tolomane Mnyayiza Region won't able to turn blind eye on the event to place during motion of vote of no confidence to KZN Premier,We saw the custodian of our constitution have the constitution in their hands but failing to practice what is provided by constitution in that occasion and we experienced most sensitive scene directed to the Speaker of the legislature

Section 102 in our constitution elaborate at length on vote of no confidence ,even the process of Speaker scheduling the motion , debate, decision on timing.

The scene course by people we regards as custodian of same constitution was really threat to our democracy and we hope relevant bodies who a tasks to deal with such . Will give such behaviour the attention it's attracted

As women of TMR we very concern the political debate that took a form of women abuse The manhandled of the Speaker of the legislature Comrade Nontembeko Boyce by patriarchal man chauvinist, their barbaric behaviour and their alterations during their unacceptable act .We won't tolerate and we fully support our Speaker of the legislature.

Across all political formation Male politician you must understand that we not in politic to accompany you or to polish your dirty male ego s .We join politics to contribute in building our country with our intellectual capabilities.We not going to stop mandate we took from Charlotte Maxeke , Lilian Ngoyi, Winnie because you are intimidated our presence in politics

We also condemned use of social media to continue with insults towards the Speaker of legislature,it's embarrassing to see women blinded by their party politics supporting such behaviour

We wish Comrade Nontembeko Boyce speedy recovery on both physically and emotionally bruises she suffered in the hands of male chauvinist supported by women who blinded by political weakness
