✏️📚 Mistakes are proof you’re trying!

At Pinelands Library, we believe every slip-up is a step forward. Mistakes aren’t setbacks — they’re stepping stones to growth, creativity, and confidence.

👩‍👧 Parents help children celebrate effort, not just results. Remind them that learning is a journey and mistakes are part of the adventure. Share your own “oops” moments, it shows kids that even adults learn by trying again.

🌟 Together, let’s build resilience, curiosity, and a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.

🌍🌳 Adopt a Tree – Building a Greener Cape Town 🌳🌍

🌱 Did you know? Through the Adopt a Tree campaign, the City of Cape Town is inviting residents, friends and community groups to be active partners in growing our urban forest. Every tree planted helps make our public spaces greener, healthier and more liveable.

The programme is guided by the City’s Urban Forest Policy and supported by the Newlands Nursery, ensuring the right trees are planted in the right places for long-term growth and care.

💡 Why Adopt a Tree?
- Strengthen Cape Town’s urban canopy
- Combat climate change and development pressures
- Empower communities to take ownership of green spaces
- Build resilience for a healthier city
