Today we raise the voice of students, workers, and the poor against exploitation, inequality, and the continued neglect of the working class. May Day is not a celebration gifted by the system — it is a reminder of the sacrifices made through struggle.

We stand in solidarity with workers, students, and all oppressed people. We demand dignity, justice, quality education, and an economy that serves the people.

Forward to free, quality, and decolonised education.
Forward to workers’ power and economic justice.

Not Yet Uhuru — Freedom Still Denied

As we mark Freedom Day, we refuse to celebrate a freedom that excludes the working-class student. TVET students continue to face financial barriers, delayed NSFAS support, and a lack of true representation.

Education should liberate, not exclude. Yet many students remain trapped in a system that denies them dignity, access, and power.

Freedom without economic justice is a lie.
Freedom without student power is a betrayal.
