The "VREESLOOS 2025 - FINAL" at Tyger Valley Centre!

This is a 24-hr challenge between high schools Hoërskool Durbanville, Hoërskool DF Malan, Hoërskool Brackenfell High and Hoërskool Stellenberg High School where 10 learners from each school will survive for 24 hrs inside a double cab vehicle and send a team member to participate in a "survivor" challenge from strength tests to outwitting each other, including eating worms.... all while not sleeping throughout the 24 hrs... great fun.

Where there's no youth there's no future.

The heartbeat of the Rotary Club of Kirstenbosch is developing youth through collaborating with schools and events that inspire the youth. Recent events held were: 1) the Humanitarian Awards and Woman's Day celebrations at Cedar High School,
2) the Table Mountain Hiking Challenge operated with our corporate partner, the Cape Province Mountain Club,
3) entering youth running teams in events around the city under the branding of "on the road with Rotary", and
4) sponsoring High school learners on other Rotary programs such as Adventures into Citizenship (AIC) and Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)

Rotary District D9350 is celebrating 100 years of community service! ✨

Join the Rotary District D9350 expo in the main expo area at the V&A Waterfront on Wednesday 5th February and Thursday 6th February from 9am to 9pm to get an insight into the community impact Rotary District D9350 is making to communities across the Western and Northern Cape of South Africa, Angola, and Namibia. Rotary District D9350 invites individuals and corporates to collaborate with us in the campaign to make a lasting impact through projects and development initiatives in our communities.

The Cape Town Carols at Kirstenbosch takes place from 12 to 15 December this year. The event is proudly hosted by the Rotary Club of Kirstenbosch District 9350, sponsored by Pick n Pay and supported by Radio Tygerberg 104FM and Fine Music Radio Inc..

Tickets will go on sale shortly via Webtickets.

On 12 December pre-entertainment will include soloist Michele Botha and The Ramsay School of Irish Dancers. The Cape Town Concert Brass Band and Friends Choir will provide the music for the nativity pageant and we hope you will enjoy the evening singing under the stars.
