Today marked a significant milestone with the official launch of the Animal Health Technicians Support Programme at TARDI.

This initiative celebrates the dedication and hard work of Animal Health Technicians who have successfully completed their training through TARDI, with valuable entrepreneurial skills development support provided by ECDC.

The event was proudly organised in partnership with Ntinga O.R. Tambo, highlighting the power of collaboration in driving rural development.

In her address, DEDEAT MEC N. Peters encouraged the graduates to make full use of their training and resources to build sustainable livelihoods. Equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge, these technicians are now empowered to contribute meaningfully to agricultural primary production, while also strengthening linkages with entities like Ntinga that operate within secondary production.

This programme is a bold step forward in the fight against unemployment, creating opportunities for Animal Health Technicians to become self-sufficient and active participants in the agricultural economy.
