ANC BUSHY KELEBONYE BRANCH (WARD 27) – MOGALE SUB-REGION

This evening, the Branch Executive Committee (BEC) convened its Pre-Branches Biennial General Meeting (Pre-BBGM) in preparation for the Councillor Candidate roadmap.

Members were thoroughly taken through all the relevant processes as outlined in the ANC guidelines. The session focused on ensuring a clear understanding of the expectations, roles, and responsibilities of each member as the branch embarks on this important process of identifying and recommending councillor candidates.

The BEC reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, unity, and adherence to organizational principles throughout the process.

A New Era for Bushy Kelebonye ANC Branch (Ward 27)

A new era has begun in Bushy Kelebonye Branch, Ward 27, Mogale Sub‑Region, following the successful election of a new Branch Executive Committee (BEC).

ANC branch members have entrusted Comrade (Evodia Cindi) with the responsibility of Branch Chairperson, making history as the first woman to lead the branch since its establishment. This milestone represents a proud and progressive moment for the organisation in the ward.

The branch has also elected Comrade (Tom),, the former ANCYL Branch Chairperson and Secretary, as the newly elected Branch Secretary of the ANC. His election brings valuable organisational experience, youth movement discipline, and continuity to the leadership collective.

Branch members have expressed full confidence in the leadership of Comrades (Evodia Cindi) and (Tom),firmly believing that under their guidance the branch will grow from strength to strength. This confidence comes at a critical time as preparations intensify towards the 2026 Local Government Elections (LGE).

The newly elected leadership is expected to prioritise unity, renewal, and grassroots mobilisation, ensuring that the ANC in Ward 27 emerges victorious. Members remain committed to rallying behind the BEC in advancing the interests of the community and strengthening the movement at branch level.
