DAY 28: DON’T GO NUMB

Ezekiel 36:26
“I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”

A lot of men aren’t truly living anymore. They’re surviving.

Numb to:

* purpose
* conviction
* emotion
* faith
* relationships
* responsibility

Because after enough disappointment, pressure, betrayal, failure, or exhaustion… Some men stop feeling altogether.

Not outwardly. Internally.

Samson was gifted with incredible strength. But over time:

* compromise
* pride
* temptation
* and spiritual numbness

slowly weakened him. The dangerous part? He didn’t even realize how far he had drifted.

Numbness doesn’t usually happen overnight. It happens little by little:

* constant distraction
* endless entertainment
* avoiding God
* avoiding real conversations
* suppressing emotion
* refusing to heal

And eventually a man can look strong externally… while internally becoming disconnected from who he’s meant to be.

Today:

* Pray honestly again
* Feel again
* Reconnect with purpose
* Get alone with God
* Stop numbing yourself with distractions
* Face what you’ve been avoiding

Healing starts with honesty. A numb man may survive life… but he won’t fully live it. God didn’t create men to drift through life emotionally dead.

Wake back up. Reconnect. Don’t go numb.

Distraction can slowly turn a man emotionally numb.

“What you suppress will eventually control you.”

Not everyone will understand what God placed inside of you.

Some people will call it unrealistic. Some will question it. Some will try to make you shrink, settle, or stay where you are comfortable.

But if God ignited it, do not let fear, opinions, disappointment, or people extinguish it.

Protect what God planted in you. That fire has purpose.

*THE FAMILY: THE FOUNDATION OF A STRONG NATION*

After creating mankind, the first institution that God established was the family. The family is therefore not merely a social arrangement, but a divine institution ordained by God Himself. Because of this, the family plays a vital role in the success and stability of society.

Strong families build strong communities, and strong communities build strong nations. When families are healthy, children are nurtured, values are passed on, and society flourishes. However, when the family structure is weakened, the effects are felt throughout the entire nation. A nation cannot thrive when its families are broken or unstable.

For this reason, the family has become a primary target of attack. We see increasing pressure from various sectors of society, including political movements and government policies, that often undermine the biblical family structure and the values upon which it is built.

The African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP) has consistently stood as a pro-family political party. The ACDP recognizes that the strength of a nation depends upon the strength of its families. Therefore, the party actively promotes, protects, and defends the family as God's foundational institution for society.

The ACDP supports policies that strengthen marriages, encourage responsible parenting, protect children, and uphold biblical family values. We believe that when families are supported and allowed to flourish, communities become stronger, crime is reduced, and future generations are given a solid foundation for success.

A nation without strong families cannot prosper. By strengthening families, we strengthen society; and by strengthening society, we build a stronger South Africa for generations to come.

_"Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it." — *Psalm 127:1*_
