GAP - Hanover Nature Reserve Hanover Nature Reserve is GAP Africa’s growing conservation space in the Waterberg, focused on habitat restoration, biodiversity monitoring, and rewilding.

With fences removed and habitats reconnecting, it’s a living classroom for hands-on conservation.

Good morning from Hanover Nature Reserve!
This morning zoology intern is checking the butterfly traps for the Melanitis leda research project.
Other species caught are recorded for Hanover species lists and then released.
This morning there were many striking green-veined Charaxes.
