```26 September 2023 (Tuesday)```
Durban : Weeks after the most successful BRICS Summit hosted by the South African govenment in Sandton and related events hosted in KwaZulu-Natal, I am scheduled to address the BRICS Fourth Employment Working Group tomorrow.
Taking place at Umhlanga Radisson Blu and starting at 09h00, the session will be followed by the BRICS Ministers of Employment & Labour Conference from the 28th to the 29th at the same venue.
We welcome delegates, labour experts, civil servants and other stakeholders from the BRICS countries
```27 September 2023 (Wednesday)```
*UMhlathuze Local Municipality*: I will attend a by-election scheduled to take place on Wednesday in Ward 13. The local sphere of government is very critical and remains the backbone of local economic development.
We have a responsibility as the department to provide support to local councillors and municipalities in relation to job creation, rural and township economic development.
```28 September 2023 (Thursday)```
*Durban*: In the morning, I will welcome ministers of labour from BRICS countries to the BRICS Ministers of Employment & Labour Conference. We remain humbled as this province at being chosen once again for a BRICS gathering.
We are determined to take advantage of being part of the BRICS bloc.
Our entity, the KZN Convention Bureau will continue to position this province as a site for national and international gatherings.
Business tourism will help stimulate the tourism and hospitality sector with jobs created in the process.
*Pietermaritzburg*: On the same day, I will also attend the sitting of KwaZulu-Natal Legislature.
I personally value the support from lawmakers representing all political parties. The ANC runs an activist legislature that has strong oversight responsibility over the executive.
I will continue to take guidance from members of the house as they represent the aspirations of the people of this province under the ANC led democratic dispensation.
```29 September 2023 (Friday)```
*Adventure Park, Somopho Hills, Empangeni*: As part of the promotion of rural tourism and rural economy, through our entity Tourism KwaZulu-Natal, we will host media houses at this facility located in deep rural areas.
Owned by a young person, this adventure park offers outdoor activities, trail hiking, paint ball, quad biking, obstacles, bird watching, camping and narration of stories.
We will also handover equipment as a demonstration of our resolve to ignite youth entrepreneurship revolution.
*Adams College 170th Year Celebration*: The acquisition of knowledge and skills required to ensure the self-sufficiency of indigenous people is something close to my heart. It is for this reason I am scheduled to attend this event.
This world renowned institution produced
four ANC Presidents: Dr Langalibalele Dube, Josiah Gumede, Dr Pixley kaIsaka Seme and Inkosi Albert Luthuli.
