๐Ÿ’š Gratitude๐Ÿ’š
This morning, the staff of Badisa Trio Scottsdene were blessed with warm blankets for the winter, generously donated by Terence Crowster.

A heartfelt thank you for this thoughtful act of kindness and care. These blankets bring more than just warmth on cold winter days, they are a reminder of the power of community and compassion.

Thank you for helping us make a difference, one act of kindness at a time.

Child Protection Starts Online Too ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ“ฑ
As part of Child Protection Week, learners at Cavalleria Primary School learned about the serious impact of cyberbullying and the importance of using social media responsibly.

From hurtful messages and online rumours to sharing embarrassing photos, cyberbullying can have a lasting effect on a child's emotional well-being, confidence, and academic performance.

๐Ÿ‘‰Learners were encouraged to think before they post, show kindness online, and speak up by reporting cyberbullying to a trusted adult, teacher, or parent.

Together, we can help create safer digital spaces where every child feels respected, supported, and protected. ๐Ÿ’š

๐Ÿ’š Today, on , we honour the incredible foster parents who open their hearts and homes to children in need. Through their love, care, and commitment, they provide more than just a safe place to stay, they give children hope, stability, and the opportunity to thrive.

A heartfelt thank you to Ms Sarah Helena Roberts, Children's Commissioner of the Western Cape, for joining Badisa Trio Scottsdene at our Foster Parent Event yesterday. We also extend our gratitude to the team of Goldilocks and The Bear for their support, and to all our dedicated foster parents across Badisa Trio.

Foster parents play a life-changing role in the lives of children. Today, we celebrate every foster parent who chooses to care, protect, and love. Thank you for making a lasting difference for a better future for children. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿก

๐Ÿ’š Be a Buddy, Not a Bully ๐Ÿ’š
As part of Boston Primary School's Anti-Bullying Week, Badisa Trio, together with our amazing puppet show volunteers, presented an educational and fun puppet show on bullying awareness.

Learners learned what bullying is, how it affects others, and why kindness matters. They also made a special pinky promise to choose kindness and not be bullies.

A highlight of the day was when several learners bravely delivered speeches, sharing messages of courage, hope, confidence, and kindness. They reminded their peers that no one should suffer in silence, that every learner belongs, and that everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and respected.

Together, the learners chose kindness. Together, they chose to make their school a safer place.

๐Ÿ’š Kindness can overcome bullying.
๐Ÿ’š Courage starts with speaking up.
๐Ÿ’š Every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and included.

Thank you for inviting us! ๐Ÿค

๐Ÿ’š Child Protection Week Kick-Off Activity
Staff from all three Badisa Trio offices, together with management, gathered in Bellville for a silent protest to mark the start of Child Protection Week. The encouraging hoots from passing cars and trucks reminded us that our message was being seen and heard. ๐Ÿ’š Every child deserves to feel safe, loved, and protected.
