Our Tsakani & Social Workers team took the awareness campaign to patients in the waiting areas. Together with the Department of Social Development Germiston and Friends For Life, they hosted a powerful educational session with parents, focusing on their vital responsibility to protect children's rights.

Key discussions included:
• Preventing Child Neglect: Recognizing the signs and ensuring a safe environment for every child.
• Health & Medication: Encouraging and supporting parents to ensure their children take their chronic/prescribed medication consistently.
• HIV Disclosure: Providing sensitive, supportive guidance on how and when to handle HIV disclosure with children.

Protecting our children means looking after their health, safety, and emotional well-being. A huge thank you to our partners and the parents who engaged so openly with us!

Every child deserves a village that protects, nurtures, and believes in them. As we observe National Child Protection Week, we reaffirm our commitment to creating safe spaces where children can learn, grow, and thrive free from fear.

Our Social Workers hosted an information sharing session with various stakeholders such as SAPS, Social Development and other Pro-children's rights organization as well as our champions from the various wards. All this, for the rights of our children.
