Cleaning a pool involves a weekly routine of skimming surface debris, brushing walls and tiles, vacuuming the floor, cleaning the skimmer/pump baskets, and balancing chemicals to maintain a pH of 7.2–7.6. Using a robotic vacuum simplifies cleaning, while manual vacuuming requires setting the filter to "waste" to remove heavy sediment.

Weekly Pool Cleaning Routine
1.Skim the Surface: Remove leaves, bugs, and debris from the surface using a net to prevent them from sinking.
2.Brush Walls and Floor: Use a pool brush to scrub walls, steps, and ladders to prevent algae buildup.
3.Empty Baskets: Remove debris from the skimmer basket and pump basket to maintain proper water flow.
4.Vacuum the Pool: Use a robotic or manual vacuum to clean the floor. For heavy debris or algae, vacuum to "waste" to avoid clogging the filter.
5.Test and Balance Water: Test for proper pH (7.2–7.6) and chlorine levels (2-4 ppm).Clean the Filter: Backwash sand filters or clean/replace cartridge filters when the pressure gauge indicates a 10 PSI increase.

Deep Cleaning and Maintenance
1.Shock the Pool: Add chlorine shock in the evening to oxidize contaminants and kill algae.
2.Clean the Waterline: Use a 50/50 mixture of water and white vinegar or specialized pool cleaner to remove calcium deposits.
3.Manage Algae: Brush areas with limited circulation frequently, as these are prime spots for algae growth.

Essential Tools
1.Telescopic pole with a skimmer net and brush attachment.
2.Vacuum head, hose, and vacuum plate.
3.Water test kit

5 Of the Most Interesting, Scary Pools of the World

1. The Sky Pool is a 25-meter translucent pool that runs between two towers at the Embassy Gardens. Offering sweeping views of London, the pool is a breathtaking design. It is the biggest detached acrylic swimming pool structure globally. The swimming pool was manufactured in Colorado, USA and took a 5,000 miles journey to its new home. The water alone in this pool weighs approximately 375 tonnes.

2. The Hemeroscopium pool in Spain runs from one side of the building to another. Completed in 2008 and designed by Ensamble Studio. It is a 4300 square-foot residence. It extends on one side to make swimming experiences more exciting. Here, you can swim as you watch the breathtaking views of the pool. The entire structure took the studio a year to engineer but only a week to build.

3. The Library Resort in Koh Samui, Thailand, may well have the reddest pool in the world. What makes the Koh Samui pool scary? The red color painted on the pool makes it look quite strange. Also, the red color does not indicate danger. It is simply a scarlet color used to complement the design of the pool. The coloration is caused by the blend of red, yellow and orange tiles used in the pool’s structure.!

4. One of the scariest pools in the world is the Marina Bay Sands, located in Singapore, 191m above ground. Measuring 478 feet long (146 meters), almost three Olympic swimming pools in length, the pool is the world's largest infinity-edge pool at that height. It comprises of 422,000 pounds (191,416 kilos) of stainless steel and holds 380,000 gallons (1,438,456 liters) of water. This pool does not have any guard rails or fences for safety. From a distance, it appears as if swimmers will fall off the side of the building.

5. The Sky Tower pool concept designed DCPP Arquitectos is a condominium in Peru is honesty pretty awesome but terrifying at the same time. The 20-story building rises high above the city with wonderful views of a local golf course. A profile view reveals a dozen concrete-formed diving boards protruding from the façade. The pools protrude from the tower, like birdhouses. These pools overlap one another.
