MARCH HIGHLIGHT
Our March highlight had to be Military Command winning the Cape Racing Sales Cape Slipper (1200m) at Hollywoodbets Kennilworth. Congratulations to Team Muscutt and the connections. Wow! What a champ and what an absolute privilege to not only have Pre Trained this magic c**t but also that we got to have him for a short holiday on his way back from Cape Town. This made for a very happy team here at Leckhampton Valley Pre Training.

Leckhampton Spelling and Pre Training

Situated 15 minutes from Summerveld Training Centre, Leckhampton Spelling and Pre Training is ideally positioned and equipped for spelling and breaking of young horses with easy access for both large and small floats from the N3.

Spear headed by Robbie Dawson together with his wife Kerri they are able to provide the ideal environment for the horses in their care. Robbie has years of experience in the racing fraternity, working with some of the top South African trainers and being privileged to have shod a number of champion racehorses over the years.

The yard which has been established and family run for the last 40 years has great facilities for young and recuperating horses. With several sand arenas, working tracks and lunge rings available for bringing horses into work or back into work. Along with plenty of turnout in good sized secure grass paddocks.

The combination of experience, facilities and level of care by first class passionate, competent staff are hard to match.
