Today, the Community Services Directorate of Mafube Local Municipality successfully rolled out the Consumer Education Programme in Cornelia.
The programme began with short introductory presentations to outline the purpose of the engagement, after which residents were assisted through on-site support stations. Different municipal units were positioned in sections to attend to the various challenges and enquiries raised by community members.

Through this initiative, the Community Services Directorate brought services closer to residents, providing guidance and support on matters relating to regulatory compliance, licensing, land-use, environmental health, and broader community services.
