Northlands Girls' High School was established in 1949 and is situated in the heart of Durban North, Durban, on the east coast of South Africa. We are proud of our traditions our `Old Girls' and our history. Our first priority is ensuring our 700 girls, aged 12-18, receive a first-class, relevant, values-based, education. Our girls are privileged to be taught in an environment of care, respect and

creativity, and our small classes allow each girls uniqueness to be celebrated. We have a nurturing environment in which to work, play and create happy lasting memories. A passionate and dedicated team of teachers remain true to our mission of equipping young women for successful and fulfilled lives. The impressive curriculum available at Northlands Girls' High School is broad, offering our girls a wide range of subject options ensuring them the opportunity to gain entrance into a tertiary institution of their choice. Northlands Girls' High School are delighted to celebrate learners, Yonga Rozani in Grade 12 and Saanvi Chitra in Grade 11, who have been selected to represent the Durban Coastal area at the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Debating Tournament. This is the biggest tournament in KZN and is used to select the Provincial Debating team. NGHS are so proud of this achievement.

The tournament will take place in Gauteng at Alberton High School/Albertview Senior Primary School in September.
