Youth in Action 💛💚🖤❤️

Yesterday, the 16th of May, the ANCYL Oscar Mpetha Branch Ward 10 successfully hosted an Online Voter Registration Initiative at Mogwadi Community Hall aimed at mobilising young people and encouraging active participation in democratic processes.

The programme was led by the Chairperson of the branch Cde Lerato Sephuma together with the Branch Secretary Cde Refilwe Moabelo.

Through the programme, 25 community members were successfully registered, marking an important step towards strengthening democratic participation within our communities.

We would also like to acknowledge and appreciate the presence of REC Member Cde Pertunia Mothemane and Sub Regional Convener Cde Mankwe Mogale for their support and contribution towards the success of the programme.

The branch remains committed to building a politically conscious and active youth.

Today the ANC together with the ANCYL Oscar Mpetha Branch Ward 10 embarked on a door-to-door programme in Dendron as part of a collective effort to engage with communities and strengthen the relationship between the movement and the people.

The programme reflected unity, community involvement and the shared commitment to addressing the concerns of our people while mobilising for a better tomorrow.

THROWBACK THURSDAY

Reflecting on December 2025 when the President of the ANCYL led a delegation on a courtesy visit to the family of the late Comrade Dr Danny Mokumo in Dendron.

As the ANCYL Oscar Mpetha Branch Ward 10, we continue to honour the life, contribution and revolutionary spirit of our brother and leader. His legacy continues to inspire young people in the struggle for economic freedom and community development.

May his soul continue to rest in revolutionary peace. 🕊️

PETER MOKABA VOLUNTEERS LAUNCH & INDUCTION PROGRAMME

The ANCYL Oscar Mpetha Branch Ward 10 participated in the Peter Mokaba Volunteers Launch and Induction Programme held in Moteku, Molemole Sub-Region on the 10th of May.

The branch was represented by Branch Chairperson Cde Lerato Sephuma and Branch Secretary Cde Refilwe Moabelo following a call for branch leadership to attend the programme.

The programme was led by ANCYL Limpopo PEC Member Cde Molatelo Pheeha alongside ANCYL Peter Mokaba Regional Chairperson Cde Billy Pillay accompanied by REC Members Cde Lesetja Mothupi and Cde Pertunia Mothemane together with the Molemole Sub-Regional leadership.

The induction focused on strengthening volunteer mobilisation, organisational renewal, and preparing branches for the 2026 Local Government Elections campaign. Branch leaders were encouraged to continue building strong, disciplined and community-oriented structures on the ground.

The ANCYL ward 10 remains committed to empowering young people, advancing community development and strengthening the organisation at branch level.
