This group was originally created in 2012 to arrange hikes and excursions while I was living in Cape Town. So please join and share your ideas.... I will be living in Aarhus from early March and would love to get out into nature lovely people from all over the world. We're connecting like minded individuals who love the great outdoors and spreading awareness about nature and conservation.

The morning started with a soft misty rain casting our usual familiar landscape in a ghostly grey. But soon enough the sun burnt through and blue skies reigned long enough for us to dip in the icy pools at the top of the waterfall and nap like lizards in the sunshine!

Riviersonderend Canyon Trail! I'm very keen to do this in December! It's a full day, 17kms and about 8.5 hours - how amazing would it be in summer, swimming and exploring and then ending our day at a cute little lodge for a braai and unwind!?

A very popular trip which includes overhangs, cave-like formations, compulsory leaps into dark rockpools and swims.
