πΈ The Second Week of Spring πΈ
Spring reminds us that every season has a purpose. Some things are just beginning to grow, some are finding their strength, and others are preparing to bloom.
As we enter the second week of spring, we are reminded of the beautiful journey of the children and young people we serve.
There are tiny babies who are only beginning their journey in this world β learning to smile, to crawl, to walk and to trust.
There are little children discovering who they are, learning through play, school, friendships and the people around them.
There are teenagers finding their voices, navigating emotions, making choices and trying to understand where they fit in this world.
And then there are young people standing at the doorway of adulthood, preparing to leave care, find work, become independent and build a future of their own.
π± Just like a garden, every child grows at their own pace.
Some need a little more time.
Some need extra support.
Some need someone to believe in them.
And some simply need a safe place where they can grow.
Our work is about being there through those different seasons β protecting, supporting, encouraging and reminding every child that their beginning does not have to determine their ending.
This spring, may we continue creating spaces where children can feel safe, young people can dream, and every one of them has the opportunity to grow, bloom and become the best version of themselves. πΌ
Every child has a season to grow. Every young person has a future worth investing in.π
