Since 2015, the UCLA Beloved Community Initiative offers immersive interdisciplinary multimedia experiences that explore and advance the Beloved Community as a vision for the 21st century - locally, nationally and globally. Utilizing the legacy of Royce Hall and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s, 1965 visit to UCLA, the UCLA Beloved Community Initiative examines contemporary and historical issues through film, broadcasts panels and more, to effect positive change -locally, national and globally.
