We advocate personal freedom and limited government. The Libertarian Party advocates personal freedom and limited government. We aspire to a society which is free to innovate, to create, and to solve problems via private initiatives rather than government coercion. Libertarians strongly oppose any government interference in personal, family and business decisions. We believe that all Americans sho

uld be free to live their lives and pursue their interests as they see fit as long as they do not harm others. In a nutshell, we are advocates for smaller government, lower taxes and more freedom. Join us for our monthly meetings (www.meetup.com/LPChicago) and check out our YouTube channel at:

No matter who you are, who you love, or how you identify, your rights belong to you, not politicians, not bureaucrats, and not special interests.

We stand for equal rights, free speech, personal freedom, and limited government for all people.

"NCLA is challenging the law's constitutionality, contending that FOID violates both the Second Amendment and the Fourteenth Amendment, particularly the latter amendment's Due Process Clause.

"NCLA is suing Illinois State Police Director Brendan F. Kelly, Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul and Cook County State's Attorney Eileen O'Neill Burke, seeking injunctive relief on behalf of three plaintiffs."

If democracy only works when voters are forced into two choices, then it is not much of a democracy at all. Illinois deserves fair ballot access and real competition of ideas, not gatekeeping by political insiders.

The two-party system protects itself first, voters second.
