I’m a proud product of North Kingstown’s public school system. 14 years ago today, I graduated NKHS. The education I received in our town put me on a path to success. As state representative, I will always support legislation to invest in our students, our schools, and our teachers.

Earlier today, I visited Senesco Marine, LLC in North Kingstown. This shipyard is on the edge of marine innovation, generates millions of dollars of income for our state, and supports hundreds of good paying jobs. As a state, we must commit ourselves to real investments in marine infrastructure so businesses like Senesco can continue to grow and to innovate.

I look forward to Democracy Night at NKHS every semester. Last night, I heard from students passionate about issues that ranged from workforce housing in Quonset, to CTE pathways at the high school, to youth democratic engagement, and to quality of life issues like speed cameras and sludge.
