This is Sheridan Gorman. She was 18 and a student at Loyola University. She was murdered this past week by a Venezuelan illegal alien who was caught and released at the border in May 2023, then released again after a shoplifting arrest in the sanctuary city of Chicago in June 2023.

What makes this tragedy even worse is that it was preventable. Failed Democrat policies and leadership allowed this to happen. Now Mandela Barnes wants to bring those same sanctuary policies to Wisconsin, including giving driver’s licenses and in-state tuition to illegal aliens.

As governor, I will ban sanctuary jurisdictions and ensure law enforcement works together to remove criminal illegal aliens.

I will put the safety of Americans first. If Chicago and Illinois had done the same, Sheridan would still be alive today. My heart breaks for her family and loved ones. This could have been anyone’s son or daughter. We must enforce our laws.

This page is the official campaign page for Tom Tiffany in southeastern Wisconsin. Our goal is to raise awareness for Tom’s candidacy, share campaign updates, communicate his message, and engage directly with voters across the region.

While it may feel early in the cycle, the reality is that winning this race will take work and that work starts now. If we’re going to be successful in 2026, it’s going to take all hands on deck. This is not a race we can afford to sit out. We won in 2024, and this election will be just as important.

Wisconsin is once again a critical battleground. We have a real opportunity to flip the state red and secure full Republican control for the first time since 2018. Too often, Republican voters who reliably turn out in presidential elections stay on the sidelines in off-year and special elections. We all know people like that. If we can engage those voters and get them to the polls this November, we win.
