On June 6, 2026, PCOL SANDRO JAY DC TAFALLA, Acting Provincial Director of the Laguna Police Provincial Office, participated in the 1st Regional Director GEN. HANSEL MARANTAN Cup Level 2 PPSA Sanctioned Match hosted by K609 Gun Club and Texan Gun Club at the Texan Shooting Range, Brgy. Tumbaga, Sariaya, Quezon.

The activity aimed to enhance the shooting proficiency and marksmanship skills of participating law enforcement personnel and shooting enthusiasts. Through continuous training and practical application, participants further developed their competence in the safe, responsible, and effective use of fi****ms an essential aspect of law enforcement operations.

The event highlighted the importance of regular fi****ms training in maintaining operational readiness, improving accuracy, and ensuring that police personnel remain capable of responding effectively to various situations in the line of duty.

Moreover, the competition fostered camaraderie, sportsmanship, and professional development among participants while promoting responsible firearm handling and reinforcing the value of discipline and excellence in service.

Laguna PNP Arestado ang Most Wanted Person Matapos Magtago ng Siyam na Taon sa Kasong Murder

Camp BGen Paciano Rizal, Sta. Cruz, Laguna — Matagumpay na naaresto ng San Pedro Component City Police Station, katuwang ang Sta. Rosa Component City Police Station, ang isang Most Wanted Person sa isinagawang manhunt operation noong Hunyo 6, 2026.

Kinilala ni PCOL SANDRO JAY DC TAFALLA, Acting Provincial Director ng Laguna Police Provincial Office, ang akusado na si alyas “Rich,” 40 taong gulang at residente ng Calamba City, Laguna.

Ayon sa ulat ng San Pedro CCPS sa pamumuno ni PLTCOL REYNALDO N VITTO, Officer-in-Charge ng nasabing istasyon, natukoy ng kanilang mga operatiba ang kinaroroonan ng akusado matapos ang masusing pangangalap ng impormasyon. Agad na ikinasa ang operasyon katuwang ang Sta. Rosa CCPS na nagresulta sa pagkakaaresto kay alyas “Rich” bandang alas-7:15 ng gabi sa Brgy. San Antonio, Biñan City, Laguna.

Isinagawa ang pag-aresto sa bisa ng Warrant of Arrest na inilabas ng Regional Trial Court, Branch 24, Fourth Judicial Region, Biñan City, Laguna. Nahaharap ang akusado sa kasong Murder na walang inirekomendang piyansa para sa kanyang pansamantalang kalayaan.

Kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng San Pedro CCPS ang akusado para sa kaukulang dokumentasyon at disposisyon, habang naipagbigay-alam na rin sa hukuman ang matagumpay na pagpapatupad ng warrant of arrest.

“Sa pagkakaaresto ng akusadong ito, mabibigyan ng hustisya ang biktima at ang kanyang pamilya. Tinitiyak ko na mananagot siya sa batas sa kanyang ginawa. Gaano man katagal ang pagtatago, walang sinuman ang makatatakas sa batas.” pahayag ni PD Tafalla.

Regional Level Most Wanted Person na may kasong Qualified R**e at R**e Through Sexual Assault Arestado ng Pulis Calamba

Camp BGen Paciano Rizal, Sta. Cruz, Laguna — Arestado ang Regional Level Most Wanted person sa isinagawang manhunt operation ng Calamba City Police Station noong Hunyo 5, 2026.

Kinilala ni PCOL SANDRO JAY DC TAFALLA, Acting Provincial Director ang akusado na si alyas “Ely,” 34 taong gulang at residente ng Calamba City, Laguna.

Sa ulat ng Calamba CCPS sa pamumuno ni PLTCOL DENNIS C DE GUZMAN, Hepe ng nasabing Istasyon, matagumpay na naaresto ng kanilang mga operatiba ang akusado sa isinagawang man hunt operation nitong biyernes, Hunyo 5, 2026 bandang 9:25 ng gabi sa Brgy. 4, Calamba City, Laguna.

Inaresto si alyas “Ely” sa bisa ng warrant of arrest na inilabas ng Regional Trial Court, Fourth Judicial Region, Branch 156, Biñan City, Laguna sa kasong Statutory R**e na walang inirekomendang piyansa at R**e Through Sexual Assault na may piyansang Php 200,000.00.

Samantala, kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng Calamba CCPS ang akusado para sa kaukulang dokumentasyon at disposisyon habang naipagbigay-alam na rin sa korteng pinagmulan ng warrant of arrest ang matagumpay na implementasyon ng warrant.

“Ang matagumpay na operasyong ito ay bunga ng sipag, dedikasyon, at mahusay na koordinasyon ng ating mga kapulisan. Pinupuri ko ang kanilang patuloy na pagtugis sa mga taong may pananagutan sa batas upang matiyak ang kaligtasan at kapayapaan ng ating mga komunidad.” Pahayag ni PD TAFALLA.
