Ang mga tampok na tula ay batay sa tema ng pagdiriwang ngayong taon na "Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas!".

Narito ang isang tula mula kay ADA IV Alvin Jason Barroga.

In line with Memorandum Circular No. 114, s. 2026 issued by the Office of the President, which directs all government agencies to implement strict energy conservation measures while ensuring the continuous delivery of public services, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) will adopt a Compressed (Four-Day) Workweek Arrangement.

Starting 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, DILG Santiago City Field Office will operate from 𝟕:𝟎𝟎 𝐀𝐌 to 𝟔:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌, 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 only. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays will be observed as non-working days.

This arrangement, implemented pursuant to DILG Circular No. 2026-005, aims to reduce energy consumption, optimize the use of office facilities, and support a more sustainable and efficient work environment while maintaining the Department’s commitment to uninterrupted public service.

The public is advised to plan their visits and transactions accordingly. For urgent concerns, stakeholders may continue to reach out through the official communication channel of our office.

Today, 𝐂𝐋𝐆𝐎𝐎 𝐑𝐚𝐮𝐥 𝐑. 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐨, 𝐌𝐁𝐀, 𝐉.𝐃. conducted a barangay visit to Barangay 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐨 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭, 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐨 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭, 𝐁𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚, 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧, 𝐀𝐛𝐫𝐚, and 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐲 for the monitoring and assessment of their compliance with 𝐃𝐈𝐋𝐆 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐍𝐨. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔-𝟎𝟎𝟔, also known as the Anti-Epal Policy.

The activity aims to ensure that all barangays strictly adhere to the guidelines set by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), promoting transparency, accountability, and professionalism in the delivery of public services.

The Anti-Epal Policy reinforces the prohibition against the use of names, images, and personal branding of public officials in government-funded projects, programs, and properties.

Notably, the barangays have demonstrated strong compliance with the policy, having already removed names, logos, and other prohibited materials indicated in the circular as part of their adherence to the prescribed guidelines.

We commend the barangay officials for their cooperation and commitment to good governance. Let us continue working together to uphold integrity and ensure that public service remains free from partisan or personal promotion.

Productive discussions and strengthened commitment marked today’s joint meeting of the 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 (𝐋𝐂𝐏𝐂) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 (𝐋𝐂𝐀𝐓-𝐕𝐀𝐖𝐂) at the Conference Room, Santiago City Hall.

Department heads and partner agencies convened to align efforts on the presentation of the Local Development Plan for Children (LDPC) and the Comprehensive Local Juvenile Intervention Plan (CLJIP) 2026–2030, along with the LCPC Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) for 1st Quarter implementation.

The body also geared up for compliance with the Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA), as discussed by 𝐋𝐆𝐎𝐎 𝐈𝐈𝐈 𝐕𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐞 𝐂. 𝐂𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐛𝐚 of the Department of the Interior and Local Government – Santiago City Field Office, highlighting 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏-𝟎𝟑𝟗 on strengthening and monitoring LCPCs at all levels.

The meeting concluded with a clear presentation of the duties and functions of the three LCPC Secretariats—reinforcing coordination, accountability, and our shared responsibility to uphold and protect the rights and welfare of every child.

Together, we move forward in building a safer, child-friendly, and responsive community for all.
