Zack's on Rt 9 is having its parking lot paved, so there are lots of cars and equipment blocking visibility of the Rt 9 exit from Griffins Ridge. We are opening the Cleveland Ave gate until it is finished to allow safe exiting from Griffin's Ridge. Please drive carefully!
In case you are wondering why we don't just ticket the vehicles, we always allow workers to park where they can when working on residents' houses.

Village Update 7.27.26

Rember that there is no parking in front of the Municipal Building starting Friday August 7 evening through Sunday August 9.
Drainage work this week at the intersection of Curry and Washington.
Ordered a 24 by 36 inch video surveillance sign for ballfield,
Ordered loudspeaker for concession stand.
Ordered 6 six-foot speed humps for Washington and Herlihy Roads. If we install permanent asphalt ones, we can repurpose the 6 foot ones to smaller problematic
streets, such as Albany, Whitfield, and ?
E-Bikes (and scooters): PLEASE speak to your kids about the importance of stopping at Stop signs! I have seen a number of close calls.
If anyone mentions that there is no audio for the public comment section of the Village Board meeting recording, that is because, while I did remember to record, I forgot to unmute until about 25 minutes in!
