On Tuesday evening, May 7, 2024, the Burlington DCC, Woburn DCC, Bedford DTC, and the Billerica DTC will livestream a Forum with the candidates for Governor's Council, District 3. The candidates are Democratic incumbent Marilyn Petitto Devaney and Democrat Mara Dolan. We are livestreaming from the Woburn Public Media Center starting at 7pm and ending at 8pm. The Forum will be moderated by Alan Foulds, Town of Reading Rules Committee Chair.

The school district is in search of a new assistant superintendent and superintendent. I would encourage you all to come and speak at school committee to encourage the school committee to hire someone who will continue the work of creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive school community. Also anything else you would like to add. This is a great opportunity to have your voice heard and make a difference for the students of this community. Today is World Kindness Day is an international holiday that was formed in 1998, to promote kindness throughout the world and observed on November 13 as part of the World Kindness Movement.
