[𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧] As Davao de Oro State College – Main Campus serves as one of the host venues for the 2026 Davao de Oro Provincial Meet, all stakeholders are hereby informed that the Main Campus will observe a Work-from-Home arrangement on September 7–8, 2026.

During this period, all classes will be conducted online, while in-person transactions and frontline services at the Main Campus will be temporarily unavailable.

The DdOSC Internal Audit Unit attended the Training-Workshop on the Baseline Assessment of Internal Control System (BAICS) for Visayas-Mindanao SUCs at the Waterfront Hotel, Cebu City, last July 1-3, 2026.

The training-workshop aims to equip internal auditors with the tools and techniques for conducting BAICS in their respective universities and colleges. In addition, it became an avenue for internal auditors from VisMin SUCs to share their best practices from their own internal audit units.

The DDOSC was represented by Mr. Rowell T. Revilleza - Internal Audit Unit Head; Ritchel John H. Arellano, CPA, LPT - Accountant II; and Ms. Shaira Cecila O. Sapio, CTT - Internal Auditor II. The training-workshop was spearheaded by the State Universities and Colleges Internal Auditors' Association Inc. (SUCIAA), in collaboration with Tarlac State University.

The Internal Audit Unit (IAU) concluded its Follow-up Audit of the Human Resource Management Unit (HRMU) - Payroll Section with an Exit Conference yesterday, April 30, at the OCP Conference Room.

The said meeting was attended by Lilybeth M. Matunhay - SUC President I, Janice C. Hermosilla - Director, Administrative Services Division, Rhea C. Niog - HRMU Head, Jovan Rae L. Cafe - Payroll Section In-Charge, and the personnel of IAU headed by Rowell T. Revilleza - Internal Auditor III.

The conference aims to discuss improvements and emphasized the strengths of internal controls of the payroll process of the College.

In compliance with Memorandum Circular No. 114, s. 2026, Davao de Oro State College, through Office of the College President Advisory No. 0312-01, Series of 2026, informs all stakeholders of the adoption of an interim Work-from-Home (WFH) arrangement every Friday, effective March 12, 2026.

In line with this arrangement, the following Friday class guidelines shall be observed:

1. All classes scheduled on Fridays shall generally be conducted through virtual learning modalities.

2. Face-to-face classes may be permitted when the use of laboratories, workshops, or other specialized facilities is necessary to achieve the intended learning outcomes.

[𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬] In compliance with Memorandum Circular No. 114, s. 2026, Davao de Oro State College, through Office of the College President Advisory No. 0312-01, Series of 2026, informs all stakeholders of the adoption of an interim Work-from-Home (WFH) arrangement every Friday, effective March 12, 2026.

In line with this arrangement, the following Friday class guidelines shall be observed:

However, on Work-from-Home days, all DdOSC personnel must stay reachable and responsive via official communication channels to ensure the College's services proceed smoothly. 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗢𝗡 𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗚𝗬 𝗚𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘

In compliance with Memorandum Circular No. 114 (s. 2026) issued by the Office of the President of the Philippines, Davao de Oro State College has initiated institutional measures to reduce electricity and fuel consumption while ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of essential services. These measures include strengthened energy conservation practices, travel rationalization, and the evaluation of flexible work arrangements.

The College is currently assessing the feasibility of adopting a four-day onsite work arrangement with one day work-from-home. Any proposed arrangement will be carefully evaluated to ensure that academic delivery, student services, and essential college operations remain uninterrupted.

Anchored on the College’s Board of Trustees–approved Public Service Continuity Plan and Learning Continuity Plan, DdOSC assures stakeholders that mission-essential functions—including instruction, student services, and payroll operations—will continue without disruption.

DdOSC views this national directive not merely as compliance but as an opportunity to strengthen fiscal discipline, operational efficiency, and sustainable governance. Through strengthened monitoring systems, digital-first coordination, and continuity mechanisms, the College reaffirms its commitment to the responsible stewardship of public resources while sustaining quality higher education for the people of Davao de Oro.

We assure our stakeholders that all institutional adjustments will be implemented with careful planning and transparency. Any official directives or updates will be released promptly to ensure that students, employees, and partner communities remain properly informed while the College continues to deliver responsive and accessible services.

[𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡] Citing heavy rains, the Municipality of Compostela has joined New Bataan and Laak in suspending work and face-to-face classes in all levels effective today, February 18, 2026.

As always, the College President encourages all students, teaching staff, and non-teaching personnel to prioritize safety and remain vigilant.

Anchored on the theme, “Agenda for Prosperity: Nurturing Future-Ready Generations to Achieve the Full Potential of the Nation,” the National Budget, amounting to Php 6.793 trillion, will prioritize the essentials that uphold the fundamental rights of the Filipino people.

With record-high budget allocations for Education, Healthcare, Agriculture, and Social Services, the FY 2026 National Budget is a testament to the PBBM Administration’s commitment to building a Bagong Pilipinas where every Filipino has the opportunity, support, and resources to thrive and contribute to our shared prosperity.

“Sa lahat ng adhikaing ito, dalangin ko na maging katuwang namin ang bawat mamamayang Pilipino—ang pagbabantay, ang pagtatanong, ang pag-uulat, at ang pakikilahok sa mahahalagang bahagi ng isang gumaganang demokrasya.
