Election returns are in

The vote tabulation shown has about 86% of the expected total voted. If this is correct the number of votes in the 2019 elections will be about 150% of the 2017 and 2015 numbers. Well done citizens of Wenatchee.

I ask you for one more action. Please take your energy and effort and direct it into enduring and whole-hearted community support for our schools. I intend to add a new career, to be an advocate or ambassador for our schools. It will be fun.

Please be proud of our students and their families and everyone who works for their education. What we achieve for them turns around to enrich our own lives.


I will have a live 15 minute interview with Dave Bernstein of KPQ’s Agenda Show at 12:30 on Thursday, October 17th

I will have a live 15 minute interview in Spanish with Jose Luis High of La Nueva during his morning show on Friday, October 18th

The school district’s job is to represent the interests of all students and their families. If elected I will share this responsibility. Investing in K-12 education is for the benefit of everyone in our community.

We have been worker and donor volunteers for Wenatchee children for a long time and will collect our picket.

July Wenatchee welcomed Dr. Paul Gordon as our new Superintendent and he welcomed us with his excellent “Listen, Learn, Lead” transition plan. He wasted no time getting out and about to build positive community relationships.

I see a lot of overlap with what my campaign stands for.

LAS FIESTAS MEXICANAS

El sábado pasado un nuevo amigo quien está dando apoyo a nuestra campana nos invitó a Las Fiestas Mexicanas de East Wenatchee. Que comida y refrescas buenas, como pozole y jugo de tamarindo. La música y baile tradicional, la gente siempre dando la bienvenida, un “tattoo” que puede borrarse para mi esposa Tina.

Dos semanas antes de las Fiestas Mexicanas del parque Lincoln cuándo tendremos nuestra mesa del candidato aprovechamos de la atmósfera. Aun si no viene para visitar nosotros el 13 y 14 de septiembre venga para una experiencia formidable y muy agradable.

GOOD NEIGHBORS AT FIESTAS MEXICANAS

A day and a half of welcoming and being welcomed by visitors to Fiestas. The campaign was received enthusiastically both in English and Spanish. Our table was surrounded by outstanding community health and social outreach organizations, a reminder of the importance of friendship and all our community efforts.
