I was asked why we threw our hat in the ring for Shalanda Hunt to become the next Mayor of the City of Jackson Michigan instead of Derek Dobies. There are several reasons.

First, Derek is the safest and most likely candidate to win the primary and general elections so that cray cray Christie May and John Wilson (two heavily Republican extremists) do not get into office and mess up the positive and constructive trajectory for the City of Jackson. That is why Derek received the endorsement from the Jackson County Democratic Committee, and I get that!

Second, Daniel Mahoney was elected in the last mayoral cycle. He inevitably became a role model for young black, brown and poor white men in the City of Jackson Michigan. Why not give young black, brown and poor white WOMEN a role model also by electing Miss Hunt as our next Mayor?

Third, women give life to everyone. They run our households. When Derek got a boo boo as a child, he ran to his Mommy. When Derek was sick, Mommy worked to make him feel better. Women are the glue that holds children together in the rocks of life in the home. Therefore, women can and do run things better than men.

Fourth, our story of civilization (300,000 years ago) started out as a Matriarchy Society. Women ran the villages and settlements. They discovered the art of agriculture and many other things. Eventually, they domesticated men into the village. Life was good until Moses drove a wedge into the dynamics of life by elevating Patriarchy and trying to stomp out Matriarchy (and things have been messed up ever since).

In sum, we believe that Shalanda Hunt for Mayor will help to bring that extra and feminine business mind to drive the City of Jackson Michigan forward and to thrive more so than Derek, a lesser mentally acute man, might do.

When Derek is feeling sad, who does he go to? HIS WIFE! Case closed!

Vote for Shalanda Hunt in the August primary. If you are not registered to vote, get registered!

We are putting the full force and effect possible behind, and are supporting, the Shalanda Hunt bid to become the next Mayor of the City of Jackson.

Elaboration:
I believe that the Jackson County Democratic Committee has endorsed Derek Dobies to become the Mayor of the City of Jackson Michigan because they feel that he is the best horse to win the race. I get that but I am a trailblazer.

Within this unofficial Committee, we think outside of the box. In fact, that is why this Committee was born. Being polite and nicey-nice is fine and dandy for the elites in the City of Jackson and the County. It is not okay for us in the struggle - black, brown, poor white and downtrodden people in the City or County of Jackson.

Moreover, we as people started out as a matriarchy. Women done and ran everything. Life was good. Then, they decided to domesticate men. Moses, overdosing on, and an addict of, testosterone had the notion of creating a patriarchy and the world has been going to hell ever since!

I personally wanted to vote for Swanson for the Democratic Candidate for the 2026 race for Governor. However, the Michigan Democratic Party endorsed Joselyn Benson for it. Not because she is/was the best candidate, but because the party thinks that she has the best chance to win in November.

Dobies and Swanson are there for ulterior motives of Michigan Democratic Party politics. Do you know how much money the chair of the Michigan Democratic Party gets? The chair's staff? How they use the ignorance of Democratic Voters for fundraising on the pretext of winning each November but also swelling their pockets and those connected with them? Wake up to the facts and realities of life People!
