We are fast approaching our class walk-a-thon and 5k fund raiser. The walk-a-thon and 5k will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 in Albemarle.

We invite you, your family, and friends to participate in this exciting event that supports our cadets. The Walk-a-Thon is a crucial part of our program, and the donations collected go a long way in funding graduation-related activities such as Activity Day, Military Ball, and graduation gifts. Your participation not only promotes a healthy lifestyle but also contributes directly to the success of our students.

Tarheel Challenge Academy aims to provide intervention and reclamation for at-risk youth aged 16-18. Our goal is to produce program graduates equipped with values, life skills, education, and self-discipline necessary to succeed as productive citizens.

How you can help? Sign up for the 5k Run or the Walk-a-Thon and encourage your friends and family to join. Donate because every dollar counts! TCA New London held their class awards ceremony and Cadet De Souza was named the Iron Person of the class. Cadet Miyara Green earned two awards; the most improved cadet of the class and the commandant award both are chosen by the academy commandant. Cadet James Frye was named the Academic Honor Graduate for class 61 earning the distinction by having the highest combined score on his high school equivalency exams. Congratulations to all of our winners today and we wish all of our graduates the best of luck in their future endeavors.

We are fast approaching graduation for TCA New London Class 61 cadets. The cadets have been working hard and our semi-annual 5k/Walk-A-Thon is just around the corner on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the New London Memorial Park from 8am - 11am. The 5k/Walk-A-Thon is our main fundraiser for the cadets and the proceeds are used for graduation-related activities such as Activity Day, Military Ball, and graduation gifts. Your participation not only promotes a healthy lifestyle but also contributes directly to the success of our students.
