A Christmas Message from Councillor Jon Welch
As we come into the Christmas season, I want to take a moment to wish everyone in our communities a warm and peaceful holiday. This time of year brings its own kind of light, and I am continually grateful for the kindness, generosity, and strength that I see in our region every day.
Whether you are gathering with family, visiting friends, or taking a quiet moment to rest, I hope the season brings you comfort and joy. I also want to acknowledge those who may find this time of year difficult. Please know that you are not alone. Our community is built on looking out for one another, and there is always someone willing to lend a hand or listen when it is needed.
I am thankful for the many neighbours, volunteers, local groups, and small businesses who work so hard to keep our communities vibrant and welcoming. Your efforts make a real difference and reflect the best of who we are.
As we look ahead to the new year, I am hopeful for what we can continue to achieve together. Thank you for the trust you place in me. It is an honour to represent you.
