POWERED BY THE SUN. ☀️☕

Can high-demand, commercial-grade barista training run almost entirely off the grid? At Kaluppâ Foundation, we put that question to the test, and made history!

Powered by our state-of-the-art solar facility, our TESDA-accredited Barista NC II Batch R4 scholars completed their intensive scholarship program with an incredible 98.7% solar energy independence.

Here is what that clean energy milestone looks like in numbers:

☀️ ~920 kWh of clean solar energy generated
⚡ Less than 1.3% reliance on the traditional power grid
🌱 Over 620 kg of CO2 emissions avoided (equivalent to planting 30 mature trees!)
💰 P12,500–P14,000 saved in operational utility costs

In partnership with DTI MIMAROPA, Kaluppâ Foundation is teaching world-class barista skills while proving that climate-smart TVET education is the future of Marinduque.

Congratulations to Barista NC II Batch R4!
