Watching pet videos to de-stress? Visit us on Zoom instead. The UGL and campus partners are hosting a Pet De-Stress Event on December 10th from 1-4 pm. One of the pets you will get to meet on the 10th is Shweta Govilkar’s Maple, a 10 month old toy poodle, a cuddle bug who loves cheese and play. Hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday and break. Just want to remind everyone that booth reservations times have changed. Booths are wonderful for creating presentations and/ or being a quiet space. Booths are available Monday-Friday from 11 am-5 pm. Reservations made before 4 are 90 minutes long. As in-person classes wrap up this semester, the Media Commons wishes everyone a safe break and holiday. For those who will be back after the break, studios and loanable tech will still be available. The post-fall break hours will be from 11 am to 5 pm, M-F and 1-5 on Sunday. If you are not returning after Fall break, the you can return your items until 4:30 pm tomorrow. Please remember to hand off your loanable tech to a staff member.

Coming soon, The Media Commons will be publishing guides for the post-Fall Break transition to all online classes. These guides will have tips for de-stressing in this all-online, all the time environment as well as popular loanable tech for presenting/teaching in both synchronous and asynchronous environments.
