A Memorial and Gratitude Display for the Fallen of Iron Swords War
As part of a unique exhibit at the Gush Katif Heritage Center in Nitzan, we are establishing a memorial board for the fallen of the war.
On this board, we will display the stickers that were published in memory of the soldiers and civilians.
If you wish to participate in commemorating your loved ones, we would be happy to receive the sticker in one of the following ways:
1. Send us by email: [email protected]
2. Come and visit at the Katif Center - free of charge but requires advance coordination by phone at *8947
From there, we will take care of the commemoration and recognition

Gush Katif and North Shomron…. It's hard to believe that 19 years have passed since the days of the uprooting and the destruction of 25 beautiful, thriving communities.
One said once: "People never really disappear as long as we can remember them and imagine them"
This is the main goal of the Gush Katif Heritage Center in Nitzan!
Telling the story of 35 years of settling the Land of Israel: the first steps in the arid sand dunes, the challenge of cultivating in the area, the satisfaction at overcoming all the obstacles, the building of a strong motivated and faithful community and the realization of establishing Jewish presence in a region that once was the scene of our forefathers life.
This is the Land of Gerar who saw the footsteps of Abraham and gave Isaac blessing one hundredfold of what he had planted. This is the Land where Samson fought and found his death, the residence of the Hasmoneans kings and the establishment of the Jewish community during the Talmudic era.
This is the land where the soldiers of Israel are leading a courageous and heroic battle since the outburst of the Swords of Iron War.
We propose to join us at the Katif Visitors' Center for an experience that will enable you to learn about the past even as you appreciate the spirit of Gush Katif that is alive and well today.

Tours can be tailor made to suit your unique group and time frame. Minimum visit is an hour, but a guided tour can include visits to neighboring renewed Gush Katif communities, tour of the Gaza envelope and interesting agricultural initiatives for an entire day's visit. It is an experience that confronts the visitor with meaningful insights into our Israeli and Biblical Heritage as well.

This upcoming Shabat we will read the Torah portion of Toldot.
This is a multidisciplinary film whose target audience is schools, military preparatory schools and high school students and whoever loves Tanach. The film focuses on a dramatic reading of the verses in Genesis Chapter 26 (Parashat Toldot), which is the only chapter in the Torah concerning the life of Isaac. The innovation that the film seeks to offer to its viewers is a geographical expression on the one hand and a scope that is relevant to ou times.

On this homeland holiday, we decided to share with you some gems that only locals know, so tell me - have you tried Pistachio Crunch yet? On the 55th anniversary of the battle in the Dotan Valley, we produced a film in collaboration with the Samaria Regional Council, the director Yehudit Pasal, with the help of Sarah Koralek and Netanel Allinson, and held a poetry evening in memory of the fallen of Northern Samaria.

Memorial Day for IDF casualties and hostilities.
At the Orange Gallery at the Gush Katif Heritage Center, we host groups of visitors to observe rotating exhibitions, but also, and perhaps most of all, provide a glimpse into the world of the families who have lost the most precious of all. The gallery houses a Gal-Ed stand where it is possible to find info & media associated with the fallen by name, date of fall, area, or settlement. Learn about the personal story of the fallen, about their lives, family, and character. Get to know the story of their fall and even initiatives that arose to commemorate their memory. On this occasion, we invite you to get acquainted with the stories that leave no eye dry.
May the soul of each and everyone be bundled in the bundle of life.

Yesterday we completed another round of our 'Disagreements to Discourse' project, which brings together students from secular and religious schools and analyzes with them the disagreements and polarization in the Israeli public while discussing issues in a respectful manner of partners.
Yesterday, as part of the project, we hosted ninth-grade students from the Rishon Lezion Ulpena and the Maayan Rishon Lezion school. We could all earn from them.

Yesterday we marked International Women's Day around the world. We chose to mark this week by publishing excerpts from our personal testimonies project of inspiring women who were displaced from their homes in Gush Katif & Northern Samaria during Aug. 2005.
Today we bring you a glimpse into the story of Yulia Segal, who made Aliya to Israel at an older age when she discovered her Jewish roots and was one of the first settlers in the town of Sha-Nur in northern Samaria:
