Logo Description – LGBT WANGAN BALANGAW

The logo of LGBT WANGAN BALANGAW is a vibrant and symbolic representation of pride, identity, and cultural heritage. At the heart of the design is a stylized rainbow swirl, forming a powerful circular motif that embodies unity, inclusion, and the dynamic spectrum of LGBTQIA+ identities. The swirling colors flow gracefully, using sharp lines and smooth curves to convey movement, resilience, and the beauty of diversity.

Emerging from the left side of the logo are six elegant peacock feathers, each intricately detailed and rich in color. These feathers are more than decorative—they symbolize dignity, pride, and the richness of individuality, drawing from both nature and cultural iconography. The peacock is traditionally associated with beauty, self-expression, and transformation—qualities that deeply resonate with the LGBTQIA+ journey.

Embedded within the swirling rainbow form is a subtle yet bold silhouette of a bird in flight, suggesting liberation, strength, and the forward momentum of the community.

The name “LGBT WANGAN BALANGAW” encircles the lower part of the logo in bold, clean lettering. The phrase itself holds deep meaning:

“Wangan” can be interpreted as a reference to land or region, grounding the group in its roots and community.
“Balangaw” is a native Filipino word meaning “rainbow”, beautifully reinforcing the themes of pride and diversity in the organization’s mission.
Overall, the logo is a striking emblem that fuses identity, culture, and advocacy—a proud banner for representation, celebration, and progress.
