한-아세안 금융협력센터, 「The Merah Putih Initiative (TMPI)」 출범식 참석 (5.11)

한-아세안 금융협력센터는 5.11.(월) 자카르타 Dharmawangsa Hotel에서 개최된 「The Merah Putih Initiative(TMPI)」 출범식에 참석함.

동 행사는 인도네시아의 정책 실행 역량 강화 및 민관 협력 확대를 위한 정책 플랫폼 출범 행사로, 인도네시아 정부·지방정부·투자기관 관계자 등이 참석하여 정책 및 투자 협력 방향에 대해 논의함.

이영직 센터장은 AI·지속가능성·미래 산업 분야를 중심으로 한 TMPI의 정책 방향에 관심을 표명하고, 향후 지속가능금융 및 산업전환 관련 협력 가능성을 모색해 나갈 필요성을 언급함.

아울러 다난타라(Danantara) Managing Director Mohamad Al-Arief와 공급망 금융협력 방안에 대해 논의하고, 현지 투자·스타트업 생태계 관계자들과 지속가능금융 및 중소기업 지원 협력 가능성을 협의함.

한-아세안 금융협력센터는 행사 참석을 통해 인도네시아 정책·투자 네트워크 동향을 파악하고, 향후 지속가능금융·중소기업 금융지원 등 분야에서의 협력 가능성을 모색할 예정임.

ASEAN-ROK Financial Cooperation Centre Attends the Launch Event of The Merah Putih Initiative (TMPI) (5.11)

The ASEAN-ROK Financial Cooperation Centre (AKFCC) attended the launch event of The Merah Putih Initiative (TMPI) held on May 11 at The Dharmawangsa Hotel in Jakarta.

The event served as a policy platform launch aimed at strengthening Indonesia’s policy implementation capacity and expanding public-private cooperation, bringing together representatives from the Indonesian government, local governments, and investment institutions to discuss future directions for policy and investment collaboration.

Mr. Lee Young Jick, the Director of AKFCC, expressed interest in TMPI’s policy direction focusing on AI, sustainability, and future industries, and noted the importance of exploring future cooperation opportunities in areas such as sustainable finance and industrial transition.

In addition, discussions were held with Danantara Managing Director Mohamad Al-Arief on potential supply chain finance cooperation, while possible collaboration in sustainable finance and SME support was also explored with local investment and startup ecosystem stakeholders.

Through its participation in the event, AKFCC plans to further monitor trends in Indonesia’s policy and investment networks and explore potential cooperation in areas including sustainable finance and SME financial support.

한-아세안 금융협력센터-산업연구원, 2026 산업정책 국제세미나 협력방안 논의 (5.7)

한-아세안 금융협력센터는 산업연구원(KIET)과 2026 산업정책 국제세미나 공동 개최 및 센터 참여 방안에 대해 협의함.

동 세미나는 6월 중순경 자카르타에서 개최 예정으로, 인도네시아 핵심 광물자원(니켈)과 한국의 배터리 기술 및 정책금융을 연계한 산업협력 방안 논의를 목적으로 추진 중임.

한-아세안 금융협력센터는 공급망 밸류체인 강화를 위한 금융지원 및 정책금융 협력 방향에 대해 발표할 예정이며, 향후 행사 운영 방식에 대해서는 관계기관과 추가 협의해 나갈 예정임.

ASEAN-ROK Financial Cooperation Centre and KIET Discuss Cooperation for the 2026 Industrial Policy International Seminar (5.7)

The ASEAN-ROK Financial Cooperation Centre (AKFCC) held discussions with the Korea Institute for Industrial Economics and Trade (KIET) on possible co-hosting arrangements and the Centre’s participation in the 2026 Industrial Policy International Seminar.

The seminar is scheduled to be held in Jakarta in mid-June and aims to explore strategic industrial cooperation by linking Indonesia’s key mineral resources, particularly nickel, with Korea’s battery technologies and policy finance mechanisms.

AKFCC plans to deliver a presentation on financial support measures and policy finance cooperation to strengthen supply chain value chains, while further consultations with relevant institutions on the format of cooperation and event arrangements will continue.

한-아세안 금융협력센터, KAIST와 「아세안 영리더스 프로그램 금융협력 네트워킹」 개최 (5.4)

한-아세안 금융협력센터는 5.4.(월) KAIST 금융전문대학원 등과 함께 「아세안 영리더스 프로그램 금융협력 네트워킹」 행사를 개최하였음.

이영직 한-아세안 금융협력센터장은 한국 자본시장의 발전 경험과 한국·인도네시아·아세안 간 금융협력 확대의 중요성에 대해 발표하며, 디지털금융·자본시장·미래산업 분야에서의 협력 가능성을 강조하였음.

이번 행사에는 인도네시아 금융감독청(OJK, Otoritas Jasa Keuangan), 인도네시아 재무부(Kementerian Keuangan Republik Indonesia), 인도네시아 증권거래소(IDX, Bursa Efek Indonesia) 관계자와 아세안 영리더스 프로그램 동문 20여 명, KB금융그룹 관계자 등이 참석하였음.

참석자들은 한국과 아세안 간 금융협력 강화와 청년 금융리더 네트워크 확대 방안에 대해 의견을 교환하며, 향후 지속적인 협력 기반을 확대해 나가기로 하였음.

The ASEAN-ROK Financial Cooperation Centre (AKFCC) co-hosted the “ASEAN Young Leaders Program Financial Cooperation Networking Event” with the KAIST Graduate School of Finance on May 4.

Mr. Lee Youngjick, the Head of AKFCC and Minister Counsellor of Finance and Economy at the Mission of the Republic of Korea to ASEAN, delivered remarks on the development of Korea’s capital markets and the importance of strengthening financial cooperation among Korea, Indonesia, and ASEAN member states, highlighting future opportunities in digital finance, capital markets, and emerging industries.

The event was attended by officials and representatives from Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (OJK, Otoritas Jasa Keuangan), the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia (Kementerian Keuangan Republik Indonesia), and the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX, Bursa Efek Indonesia), as well as more than 20 alumni of the ASEAN Young Leaders Program and representatives from KB Financial Group.

Participants exchanged views on expanding Korea-ASEAN financial cooperation and strengthening networks among future financial leaders in the region.

한-아세안 금융협력센터는 쿠알라룸푸르 소재 동남아 아태지역 중앙은행 협의회(SEACEN)를 방문하여 2026년 부산 개최 예정인 부실채권(NPL) 및 자산관리회사(AMC) 관련 역량강화 프로그램 협력 방안에 대해 논의함.

ASEAN-ROK Financial Cooperation Centre Holds Financial Cooperation Meeting with SEACEN (4.29)

The ASEAN-ROK Financial Cooperation Centre (AKFCC) visited the South East Asian Central Banks (SEACEN) Centre in Kuala Lumpur to discuss cooperation on a capacity-building programme on Non-Performing Loan (NPL) resolution and Asset Management Companies (AMCs), which is scheduled to be held in Busan in 2026.

The two sides also exchanged views on expanding cooperation in various areas, including climate finance, digital finance, technology finance, CBDC, and sustainable finance.

AKFCC plans to continue strengthening policy cooperation and capacity-building initiatives with ASEAN central banks and financial authorities in the future.

한-아세안 금융협력센터는 4.28.(화), 주말레이시아 대한민국 대사관 및 기술보증기금과 공동으로 말레이시아 쿠알라룸푸르 소재 AmBank Group 본사에서 「찾아가는 원스톱 금융지원 상담·설명회」를 개최함.

이번 설명회는 말레이시아 진출 우리 중소·벤처기업의 금융 접근성 제고와 현지 자금조달 애로 해소를 지원하기 위해 마련되었으며, 보증·대출·무역금융·투자 등 다양한 금융지원 제도와 상품이 소개됨.

행사에는 기술보증기금, 한국수출입은행, 한국무역보험공사, 우리은행, AmBank Group 등 주요 금융기관과 Korean Investment Partners, NH Absolute Return Partners 등 벤처캐피탈, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC 등 글로벌 회계법인이 참여하여 현지 진출기업 대상 1:1 맞춤형 상담 및 종합 컨설팅을 진행함.

ASEAN-ROK Financial Cooperation Centre Holds “One-Stop Financial Support Consultation & Briefing Session” in Malaysia (4.28)

The ASEAN-ROK Financial Cooperation Centre (AKFCC), jointly with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Malaysia and the Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KOTEC), held the “One-Stop Financial Support Consultation & Briefing Session” on April 28 at the headquarters of AmBank Group in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The event was organized to support Korean SMEs and venture companies operating in Malaysia by improving their access to finance and helping address difficulties in local financing. Various financial support programs and products, including guarantees, loans, trade finance, and investment schemes, were introduced during the session.

Major financial institutions including KOTEC, the Export-Import Bank of Korea (KEXIM), Korea Trade Insurance Corporation (K-SURE), Woori Bank, and AmBank Group participated in the event, along with venture capital firms such as Korean Investment Partners and NH Absolute Return Partners, as well as global accounting firms including Deloitte, KPMG, and PwC.

Participants provided one-on-one customized consultations and comprehensive advisory services for Korean companies operating in Malaysia.

AKFCC will continue to actively support the establishment of a stable financing environment for Korean companies and the expansion of the ASEAN-Korea financial cooperation network through collaboration with public and private financial institutions as well as local financial partners.

「아세안 중소기업의 녹색경제 강화 및 지속가능금융 세미나」 개최 (4.22)

한-아세안 금융협력센터는 4.22.(수) 인도네시아 브카시 소재 BINUS University에서 GICC(녹색혁신협력센터)와 공동으로 「아세안 중소기업의 녹색경제 강화 및 지속가능금융 세미나」를 개최하였음.

이 자리에서 GICC, BINUS University, 인도네시아 중소기업부 및 협동조합부, 아세안 중소기업 관계자 등 50여 명이 참석하여 중소기업의 녹색전환을 위한 정책·금융·기술 연계 방안과 AI·재생에너지 기반 지속가능금융 활용 방향을 논의하였으며, 한-아세안 금융협력센터는 ‘AI 기반 녹색전환 금융모델’ 및 ‘탄소→금융(Carbon to Finance)’ 연계 방안을 중심으로 한-아세안 금융협력 방향을 제시하였음.

The ASEAN-ROK Financial Cooperation Centre (AKFCC) co-hosted the “Seminar on Strengthening the Green Economy and Sustainable Finance for ASEAN MSMEs” with the Green Innovation Cooperation Center (GICC) on April 22 at BINUS University in Bekasi, Indonesia.

The seminar brought together around 50 participants from GICC, BINUS University, Indonesia’s Ministry of MSMEs and Ministry of Cooperatives, as well as ASEAN MSME stakeholders, to discuss policy, finance, and technology linkages for MSME green transition, along with the utilization of AI and renewable energy in sustainable finance. AKFCC also presented its cooperation approach, highlighting an AI-based green finance model and the “Carbon to Finance” framework to enhance financial access for MSMEs in ASEAN.
