In accordance with DILG Memorandum Circular 2020-070 and Executive Order 70, this training aims to establish and strengthen Barangay Project Monitoring and Evaluation Committees (BPMEC) for effective grassroots development and governance.

By fostering collaboration among local authorities, this initiative seeks to promote efficiency of services and project implementations at the barangay level, which will enhance the overall quality of life for the barangay residents.

MONTHLY MEETING. The Naga City PMC held its regular meeting last February 20, 2024, at the CMO Conference Room.

The said meeting highlighted the possible innovative approaches in project monitoring for infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects. The team was also advised to learn from the working practices that will fit for efficient and effective project facilitation.

The said meeting was presided by our NCPMC Chairperson Elmer S. Baldemoro.

BACK ON TRACK. The Naga City Project Monitoring Committee (NCPMC) was present during the 1st Quarter Regional Project Monitoring Committee last January 31, 2024, at NEDA Regional Office V represented by Engr. Herlyn Delos Reyes, TWG Member, and Mr. James Nathaniel Refugio, Secretariat Member, presented the accomplishments and plans of the NCPMC in the last 4th Quarter of 2023 and the Calendar of Activities for 2024.

In addition, the said members shared as well the best and emergent practices being done in Naga City to the RPMC members present, by providing spaces to our barangays to improve their project monitoring and evaluation systems and amplifying collaborative efforts with key stakeholders in ensuring that the programs, projects, and activities are implemented for and with the benefits of our Nagueños.

KICKSTART 2024. The Naga City Project Monitoring Committee conducted its first training session this year about RPMES Forms and Reports facilitated by Engr. Herlyn Delos Reyes, TWG Member of NCPMC, last January 23, 2024. This aims to familiarize with different RPMES forms and reporting which enable the NCPMC members to have extensive and active participation together with key stakeholders and to ensure proper feedback with the implemented programs, projects, and activities.

The said training was attended by NCPMC members and invited guests from Naga City People's Council and Liga ng mga Barangay - Naga City.
